Generally speaking, my heart always believes God is near.  But sometimes my EARS doubt it 'cause it seems like He's coming in thru a tin-can on a distant planet. So what do we do when we feel God is near but we can't hear him very well?  What we don't do is pray for God to come in more clearly. He's God. He ALWAYS comes in clearly. What we do do is pray that our ears pick up better reception. And God will answer. God will come in as clearly as we are willing to let Him in and listen. He's never as far away as our ears think He is. I hope this encourages someone today.

You're awesome :) When it's hard for me, I try to not focus so much on "hearing" God... I always turn back to the bible. The bible tells us we are sinners and our hearts can deceive us... So when I read the word, it really makes me feel the presence of God.
