I'll never forget this one... A few years back, we were on vacay, chillin' by the pool. About 15 feet away from us I noticed a woman on her knees, with her head against a concrete wall.  That's what caught my eyes.  She was crying so hard.  That's what caught my ears.  A sunbather, pool attendant & lifeguard all walked by, asking her if she was OK.  I ran over & knelt beside her. "Ma'am, I am a pastor's wife, may I pray for you?" Looking up from the concrete wall, still crying, she nodded yes.  Later on, it dawned on me that sometimes, a victim needs a firefighter's badge or a paramedic badge or a lifeguard badge. But sometimes a victim needs a Christian badge.  As a Christian, I am deputized to help others.  You & me have the honor of arriving to the scene of another's pain--to help in their rescue.  People don't need to see a badge displayed on us.  Sometimes they just need the Jesus displayed in us.
