Herbert B. Swope said, "I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure: try to please everybody."  God said, "YOU were fearfully & wonderfully made," and "before YOU were born, YOU were set apart...appointed." When we defy this & become who others want us to be, we succeed at being them....but we fail at being us. KNOW YOU. BE YOU. And watch God do great things. :)

So true. I lived my life for a long time "pleasing everybody" until this past January. I fully gave myself to Christ, started doing for me, working on me(counseling for my past), joined a awesome church(Potential Church), started serving on our IC, lifting brothers & sisters up in prayer all over the world, joined my first Connect Group, planned our first family vacation(South Florida in April), going back to school for a better future for my daughter, faithfully giving God 10% of my income knowing & trusting in Him even though I'm a single mom - everything is falling into place. All I had to do was stop doing things on my time, my way - Let go & Let God.
