Today, while driving, I had an ephiphany of sorts. I heard something speak into my head: "Do my best with where I'm at." As I considered that, I started to translate it...

In depression? Do our best with where we're at.  In unemployment? Do our best with where we're at.  In mourning? Do our best with where we're at.  In celebration of new opportunity? new relationship? Do our best with where we're at.  In addiction? Do our best with where we're at.

Why do we need to do our best with (simply) where we're at? Because we can't do our best with our future (we don't know what it holds); and we can't do our best with our past (because it's never coming back again). So perhaps life is about being wherever we are (good or bad) & doing our best with where we're at.

Love love love this post!
Many times we spend the day wishing it away, saying we will do better with tomorrow instead of doing the best with the day that we are!

Every day is a special day. This is the day that God has allowed us to have. This is His promise. I want to live my life as if it truly is my last day. Nothing should every be unsaid. Thank you Lord for allowing us every opportunity that is presented to us. Ultimately, it is up to us in how we carry it forward. Great words, Heather.
